YGRC Members and YGRC Field Class Participants
Space may be limited. Preference given to YGRC members.

EVENT DETAILS

What: Shot Fliers (Ducks)
• Max 2 fliers per dog
• Max 2 dogs per participant

Cost:
• $35 per bird
• $10 event fee per handler

Deadline:
Midnight, May 2, 2026
No late entries. No exception. No refunds after closing.

WHAT TO KNOW

• Dogs in heat are allowed (notify Marshal to run last)
  Opportunity to run blind retrieves (dog must be capable of a basic blind)
  Event follows AKC Best Practices, CT guidelines, and USACE requirements
  Masks required if mandated (details in Premium)

Bring Your Own:
Lunch, drinks, chair, shade, sunblock, water for dogs, mask, hand sanitizer, hand-held radio, whistle, hearing protection, duck call, rain gear
No sharing of personal equipment

YGRC Provides:
All test equipment including guns, blinds, live ducks, decoys, gunners, and wingers

Volunteer Help Needed:
Plan to stay all day — land and water series run simultaneously with rotating workers
