Yankee Golden Retriever Club welcomes applicants (18 yrs and older) who share our love for the Golden Retriever. Our membership is composed of breeders, exhibitors, obedience, tracking and field trainers, AKC judges, pet owners and more. We are people like yourself, who are interested in nurturing the special bond we have with our Goldens, increasing our knowledge, and in preserving the Breed Standard and special qualities of the Golden Retriever. Annual fee is $30.
Join SUSAN LYNCH as she shares with us her new exciting project: Life with Rune is a resource where puppy owners can learn how to socialize a puppy and establish behaviors that enable a lifetime of enjoyment for the puppy and person. Socialization and training techniques are organized and segmented into guides targeted at specific age groups from 8 weeks through 1 year. The guides contain description of critical socialization periods and short videos to demonstrate training techniques. It begins on the day my puppy, Rune, came home and continues through his first birthday. My goal in creating this series is to provide a resource for the many people attempting to raise a puppy during these Covid and social distancing times, as well as provide a permanent resource going forward for the future puppies in our households. I believe you will find valuable information in my training guides whether you are a first time puppy owner or have raised multiple puppies over the years. I hope you enjoy the series. Happy Training! Click HERE |
